  • In short
    • prepare a Github account for publishing
    • Use that github account to register Eclipse foundation and sign some agreement
    • Use the same github account to login to open-vsx
    • Upload .vsix extension package generated by vsce tool referring to vscode/publish-to-azure-marketplace
